About Me

I first learned about Autism at U.C. Davis as an undergraduate studying Human Development. Later, I delved deeper into the psychology and theory of inclusive learning differences while pursuing my Master’s degree in Education at U.C. Berkeley and teaching in the California public schools. Little did I know I would put all my studies and experiences to work when it came to raising my son who was diagnosed when he was a toddler.

Immediately, I threw myself into learning all I could about Autism to support him to reach his fullest potential. Over the years, I have compiled a vast network of resources and earned an Autism Certification from SF State University where I also guest lecture. From barely speaking to now performing in theater, my son has grown into a confident, empathetic, joyful, sociable teen who dreams to act on Broadway!

I specialize in Neurodiversity-affirming practices using a strengths-based model that is customized for each child and family’s lifestyle and schedule. I work with autistic individuals and their families from diagnosis through young adulthood.

I would love to support your journey and share my experiences and resources with you.
